About Us

I am our founder, Rick Weedn. My son Miguel and I started this brand with licenses from both Ford Motor Company and Carroll Shelby Licensing.

I was born in California and am a third-generation Californian with family roots in Texas and Oklahoma. Like most of my friends from this era, I am the son of a World War II veteran.

Like many veterans, my father loved Fords and motorcycles. I grew up near Santa Ana, California, and Saddleback Park in Orange County. In my youth, I raced in the Mojave Desert with District 37 and at local motocross tracks. Beyond my father, my heroes included motocross riders and racing drivers from the 1960s and 1970s, such as Dan Gurney, Parnelli Jones, Jim Pomeroy, Joël Robert, and Chuck Minert. Carroll Shelby was a heroic figure of American business for me. I was fortunate enough to meet and become friends with many of my heroes. I have lived a blessed life.

After a lifetime in image publishing, our company began publishing vintage posters online in 1999. This introduced us to Ford and Shelby executives as well to Dave Friedman and The Henry Ford Museums. Our company was originally called VintageArte, then it became Artehouse, and later Archivea Group, which is now our parent company.

We have been licensed publishers for THF, Ford and Shelby since approximately 2005. We are now based near Jackson, Wyoming. When we are not in the United States, we spend our time in Corsica, Portugal, Spain or Switzerland. All of our physical operations are located in the United States, where all of our printing and manufacturing takes place.

My son and I love our lives in the USA as Americans and as Americans travelling and experiencing the world and all of its inspirations.

We hope you enjoy what we proudly make.
